As promised, a brand new and extended trailer for "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" is premiered during this year's MTV Video Music Awards. The fresh sneak peek into the much awaited vampire drama sequel was presented by Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner after Green Day hit the stage and performed "East Jesus Nowhere".

This trailer presents more to what has been offered by the bootleg version that had come out earlier. One of the scenes missing from the bootleg version captures Bella, who sits with her friends Jessica, Mike, Angela and Eric in the cafeteria, glancing over toward the now-empty table where the Cullens once sat.

2009 MTV VMAs, in the meantime, is underway. Broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall, New York City on Sunday, September 13 at 9:00 P.M. (Live ET/Tape Delayed PT), it was opened by Madonna who gave a speech about the late Michael Jackson. Taylor Swift was among the early winners, grabbing Best Female Video.

"The Twilight Saga's New Moon" centers on Bella, who is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire lover Edward Cullen but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.

Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner are joined by many of the original cast members, including Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Jackson Rathbone and Nikki Reed, and new additions such as Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen and Noot Seear. "New Moon" is targeting a November 20 U.S. release.
