AceShowbiz - English alternative new band White Lies have been confirmed to open for rock music act Kings of Leon later this month. The relatively new band who kicked off their career in 2007 are scheduled to take the stage on Kings of Leon's U.S. fall trek on Saturday, September 26, reports COED Magazine.
No record on the songs that they will perform during the show. It is also not known if White Lies will open for Kings of Leon's any other tour dates.
In another related news, White Lies have just made their TV debut with an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Thursday, September 10. The band, moreover, are having their single "Death" being used as the soundtrack of comedy-horror-thriller flick "Jennifer's Body", which will come out in U.S. cinemas next Friday, September 18.
Earlier this year, White Lies had their debut album "To Lose My Life..." released and quickly shot to No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart.
