Joe Jackson broke his silence on the death of his son Michael Jackson, which has been ruled by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office last week as homicide. In an interview with NBC's "TODAY" that aired Monday, August 31, the older Jackson said, "Someone should pay. Not just someone but all of them should pay that's involved."

"I'm not angry, I'm mad," Joe went on stating. "I didn't know all this was going on. That's what I'm mad about." The coroner's announcement "tells me there was foul play done. That's what it tells me. And more to be investigated to see what is behind all of this stuff, not just Dr.Conrad Murray," Joe added when referring to Michael's personal physician who has become the target in the manslaughter investigation into the superstar's death.

In further interview, Joe also revealed that he had never heard of the drug propofol until it was implicated in his son's death. Therefore, he is seeking justice for his late son, whom he claims as the "greatest all over the world".

On Friday, August 28, more than two months after Michael Jackson passed away from cardiac arrest, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirmed that the 51-year-old performer's death was a homicide and was caused by "acute propofol intoxication." Other sedatives that contributed to his death as listed in his autopsy report were Midazolam, Diazepam, Lidocaine and Ephedrine.
