A brand new single from Britney Spears will be released this October, according to gimmeBRITNEY. There is no word on the title of the track, but rumor suggests that this song will become the lead single from her upcoming greatest hits album "The Singles".
"The Singles" reportedly has been pushed back from its original U.S. release date on October 27 to almost a month later in mid November. Without mentioning what is project she currently finishing, Britney recently tweeted about working with acclaimed producer Max Martin. She is also rumored hitting studio with producers Russ Castella and Fernando Garibay.
While waiting for the effort to arrive in the market, fans can catch Britney's performances during the on-going North American leg of her "Circus Starring Britney Spears" tour. The pop singer will wrap up the gig at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 27. More detailed info about her forthcoming shows can be seen on her MySpace.
