Speaking to E! News about the leaked threesome tape featuring her, Eric Dane, and Rebecca Gayheart, Kari insists they were just having fun when videotaping themselves naked in her apartment.

AceShowbiz - Kari Ann Peniche, the third party who is featured in Eric Dane's infamous threesome tape, tells E! News in an exclusive interview that the video was meant for fun. "I don't know, we just had a lot of fun," the former Miss Teen USA says when she is asked about what was going on among her, Eric and wife Rebecca Gayheart when they made the video. "Rebecca and I hit it off - she's really funny, she's a really cool girl," so she adds.
Amidst on-going investigation by the LAPD to find out who leaked the tape that hit the web earlier this week, Kari ensures she isn't the one in charge. "If I was going to leak it, I would have done that a long time ago," she argues. "Nobody raided my house; I haven't had any contact with LAPD," Kari continues telling E! News.
On Monday, August 17, Gawker.com debuted a video showing Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart, and Kari Ann Peniche taping themselves in a bedroom and bathroom in various states of undress. Appearing to be intoxicated, the threesome can be heard discussing about their porn names.
The next day, Kari told TMZ that the footage was taken more than two years ago at her apartment. She, moreover, stated that she believes her ex-roommate Mindy McCready stole it from the hard drive of her computer after they were involved in an argument over money.
On Wednesday, August 19, it was confirmed that the Los Angeles Police Department has conducted an investigation on a possible "criminal activity" in the leak of threesome tape. So far, there has yet word from the LAPD about the investigation though.
