It's been days since news of her separation from Tony Romo made its way all over the media, and Jessica Simpson reportedly is finding it hard to deal with the fact. "Jessica was really blindsided," a family friend of the actress-singer claims. "She's sad, mad, and confused. Her emotions are all over the place."

Another source close to Jessica, moreover, reveals that she and Tony have been dealing with difficult time lately. "Dating her comes along with her celebrity and press -that's not easy for anyone," says the source. "But she and Tony seemingly had it figured out. They rolled with the punches and focused on each other. They just lost sight of that at the end."

It is understandable then that Jessica has been keeping herself away from the spotlight. "She is holding up okay," the source reveals, adding "She is with her family. They are - as always - very supportive of her." Tony, on the other hand, has been spotted enjoying the nightlife with some of his friends. The footballer was seen partying at a number of nightclubs.

Rumor has it, he dumped her after finding out that she still exchanges text messages with ex-boyfriend John Mayer. Despite the speculation, neither Jessica nor Tony has issued any statement to the press.
