Contrary to earlier report, Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan are not engaged, Celebuzz claims in a report on its site.

It turns out that a report run by New York Post's gossip column Page Six last week that Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan were engaged is completely false. Celebuzz claims the engagement story actually was a rumor from six months ago that was recently brought back to life by gossip blogger Perez Hilton.
On June 26, Perez claimed the "Gossip Girl" co-stars and real life lovers announced their engagement on social networking site Facebook.com by changing their relationship status to "engaged". In fact, several sources have told Celebuzz that neither Leighton nor Sebastian has a Facebook account.
Love life aside, Leighton has tried her hand at singing in addition to acting in small screen. In late April this year, it was confirmed that she has been signed to Universal Republic Records through an agreement with Time-Act Music to release her debut album this fall. She reportedly is receiving help from top notch producers, like Polow Da Don and Harvey Mason Jr., for the record.
