'Dancing with the Stars' semi-final round required each pair to dance ballroom and a Latin style and Gilles Marini successfully scored perfect for both.

AceShowbiz - Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke once again received a perfect score of 30 on "Dancing with the Stars". The new set of score is particularly critical since the couple is in the semi-final round along with three others, Ty Murray - Chelsie Hightower, Shawn Johnson - Mark Ballas, and Melissa Rycroft - Tony Dovolani.

Each of the pairs had to dance twice, a ballroom piece and one Latin style. Gilles and Cheryl picked on Waltz as their ballroom choice, dancing to Norah Jones' "Come Away With Me". In the rehearsal, Cheryl brought in Jonathan Roberts to teach Gilles on how to be a classy man dancer using the concept of 'frame and picture'.

The Waltz was raved on by the judges. Bruno jumped right up while saying that Gilles was "irresistibly romantic" and Carrie Ann said it was subtle, sweet and perfection. Len, while sitting down, said that he was giving them a "sitting down standing ovation."

The second round also garnered them another 30. They were doing Salsa, but before the performance, more about Gilles were exposed through his family and birth town of Cannes, France. The Salsa had Len saying "I wish I had an '11' paddle." Carrie said that she wished him to be in the finals next week while Bruno mentioned a Lil' Kim hiding in his pants.

Thus in total Gilles received 60 out of 60. Meanwhile, his competitors, Melissa Rycroft, Shawn Johnson and Ty Murray scored 55, 56 and 48 out of 60 respectively.

After the performances, Gilles talked to OK! Magazine, expressing his happiness. "It feels beautiful and amazing," he said. "It's a big struggle, but a big payoff. Cheryl has to kick my butt, otherwise I don't function. She's been pushing me." He added, "I think the judges understand how much work it is and it's no BS with me - I've never danced before the show. It's pure work and showing them respect and I think they read that."
