Taylor Swift Says Discussing Sex and Virginity Publicly Is Like Being Pictured Naked
Celebrity

"And as much as I can prevent people picturing me naked, I'm going to," says Taylor Swift when comparing public talk about sex and virginity to being pictured naked.

Young country music star Taylor Swift, who has openly talked about her break-up with Joe Jonas in numerous interviews, chooses not to discuss sex and virginity publicly because for her talking both topics with reporters is like having herself photographed naked. "I think when you talk about virginity and sex publicly, people just automatically picture you naked. And as much as I can prevent people picturing me naked, I'm going to," the 19-year-old songstress tells Allure's April issue, which will go on sale on March 24.

Yet, Taylor says "it's fine to talk about love publicly." She goes on sharing about making use her dating experience, either good or bad, as an inspiration to write songs. "Let's say I date a guy who really does nothing but damage me. And you've spent time, you've spent effort, and you've put everything into trying to make that work. And it didn't. So you write a song about it. It was worth everything if you write a song about it," Taylor explains.

Beside dating experience, Taylor admits she often finds inspiration to write songs from fairy tales. "I have always been fascinated with fairy tales, and the idea that Prince Charming is just one castle away. And you're gonna run across a field and meet each other in the middle, and have an amazing, perfect movie kiss. And it's gonna be happily ever after," so she gushes.

"For some reason, I could never, ever stop writing songs about heartbreak," Taylor tells Allure. "Just because as human beings, what we can't have is what we replay in our head over and over again before we go to sleep."

Taylor Swift previously never confirmed that she dated Joe Jonas from popular band Jonas Brothers. But, late last year she was quite vocal in making public the fact that Joe dumped her over a few seconds phone call. News on that matter had been covered by numerous media for quite sometime.
