Winning Best Actress, Kate Winslet Gets Second Golden Globe Award

The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards gala ceremony has become one special night for Kate Winslet as the star of 'Revolutionary Road' and 'The Reader' has brought home also the Best Actress award.

AceShowbiz - Kate Winslet has collected two awards from the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 11. After receiving the Best Supporting Actress title for her performance in "The Reader", the 33-year-old has been hailed as Best Dramatic Actress for her portrayal of April Wheeler in "Revolutionary Road".

Handed the award by Cameron Diaz and Mark Wahlberg, the actress who gained fame through James Cameron's "Titanic" looked very stunned by the winning and kept saying "thank you so much". Thanking her husband, Sam Mendes who also is the director of "Revolutionary Road", she also thanked her co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, saying "I love you for 13 years - I love you with all my heart."

Aside from Kate, Mickey Rourke has been named Best Dramatic Actor for his performance in "The Wrestler". Additionally, Woody Allen's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" has come out victorious, winning the Best Motion Picture in Musical or Comedy and beating out "Burn After Reading" and "Happy-Go-Lucky" among others.
