Reportedly 'fighting a lot because [they] never saw each other,' Katy Perry and Travis McCoy are rumored to end their relationship after a year of dating.

AceShowbiz - Katy Perry and boyfriend Travis McCoy may be a couple no more as they have reportedly ended their romantic relationship. The "I Kissed a Girl" singer and Gym Class Heroes' frontman are rumored to call it quits after spending the holiday together in Mexico.
"It's sad, but they were fighting a lot because [they] never saw each other and now she is going on tour," a source told US Weekly. "She just needed a clear head. It's been non-stop work for her." Another insider explained to Celebuzz that the split is "a hardship" for both of them.
Travis has posted lyrics from Main Source's song "Looking at the Front Door" on his blog reportedly to express what he felt about the breakup. "We fight every night, now that's not kosher/I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer/And wake up to be greeted by an argument again/You act like you're ten," so the lyrics read.
Following his posting the song's lyrics, Travis also took to his blog declaring that it is only his laptop that can really listen and understand him as a person. "My Laptop is my new b--. LOYAL. LISTENS. and NEVER LET'S ME DOWN," he wrote. Both camps have been silent when referring to the rumor.
Travis McCoy and Katy Perry have been dating for a year. In June 2008, Travis even told People he gave her a "promise ring." At that time she was said to be excited with his gift.
