Demonic Nero and Sultry Uhura in New 'Star Trek' Character Posters
Movie

Another set of black and white character posters from forthcoming sci-fi movie, 'Star Trek', has been unleashed, this time they center on villain Nero and U.S.S. Enterprise crew Uhura.

AceShowbiz - Continuing to promote "Star Trek" at warp speed, Paramount Pictures have released a pair of new character posters. In similar style of the earlier released posters of Kirk and Spock, the two fresh black and white images present U.S.S. Enterprise's communications officer Uhura and Romulan villain Nero.

While the poster of Uhura shows a sideway look into the human crew of the starship from the United States of Africa, the individual one-sheet for Nero displays a full frontal shot of the villain, exposing up-close his structural face and tattoos. Uhura is played by "Guess Who" star Zoe Saldana, whereas Nero is portrayed by "Hulk" actor Eric Bana.

Chronicling the early days of James T. Kirk and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members during their time at Starfleet Academy, the eleventh "Star Trek" movie stars Chris Pine as Captain James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Karl Urban as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, John Cho as Hikaru Sulu and others. Directed by J.J. Abrams, it is set to be released in U.S. theaters on May 8, 2009.
