No truth to reports that LeAnn Rimes and her dancer husband Dean Sheremet renewed their wedding vows over the weekend. They instead held a three-day festivity to celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary and her 26th birthday.
Rimes actually turned 26 years old on August 28, whereas the wedding anniversary should be in February next year. But the couple decided to celebrate early to take advantage of the warm weather, People reports. Inviting 30 of their closest friends to attend the celebration, Rimes said she and Sheremet aimed the festivity to remember how blessed they are and how excited they "still are about each other" after a seven-year marriage.
Speaking of the festive, which reportedly was culminated with a seven-course dinner and an evening of dancing on Saturday night, August 30, Rimes said "My ankles and my feet hurt because I was jumping around on the dance floor so much!"
On top of the celebration, Rimes openly revealed that she and Sheremet are looking forward to have baby, telling People they're "ready" for parenthood. She even said that good pal Keith Urban, who has just welcomed his first child with actress wife Nicole Kidman, has been urging her and Sheremet "to start gettin' on it!"
Rimes and Sheremet's first meeting occured in 2000 when he was cast to dance during her performance when she hosted the 2001 Academy of Country Music Awards. They walked down the aisle on February 23, 2002 and have no children just yet.
