AceShowbiz - It seems that Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" is going to be having a line of A-list stars as its cast ensemble. Following the speculation that Tarantino is considering Brad Pitt for Lieutenant Aldo Raine role, new casting rumor surfaced. This time, it is said that the filmmaker eyes to work with Leonardo DiCaprio.

Report claimed that the "Pulp Fiction" director/writer has been planning to meet with the 33-year-old actor on Thursday, July 17, to discuss the possibility of him starring in the movie. If everything goes as planned, the star of Martin Scorsese's "The Departed" will be portraying the role of the Jew Hunter, Colonel Hans Landa. Like Pitt, if indeed cast, this film project will be his first time working with the acclaimed filmmaker.

"Basterds" is a World War II epic movie which follows a band of Jew-American soldier formed to go on a dangerous mission to bomb a movie theater in Paris that is premiering a propaganda war film by Hitler's right hand man, Goebble. The movie is said to start its production in fall and will be shot in Germany and France.
