Black Eyed Peas to Add Cheryl Cole as Member?

The R 'n' B group is rumored to add the Girls Aloud member as their member replacing Fergie if the latter ever decides to leave the band.

AceShowbiz - New rumor sparks from Black Eyed Peas claiming that they might add Cheryl Cole to the group in case Stacy Ferguson a.k.a. Fergie decides to leave them. The news surfaces after one of the group members will.i.am make a comment on Cheryl saying, "If we didn't (have) Fergie, she (Cole) would be in the Peas that's how cool she is."

Will reveals his statements after he worked with the Girls Aloud's member on his new single "Heartbreaker". Besides him, at the moment, all the members of the group are finishing their own solo project, including Fergie.

The Black Eyed Peas first emerged on the music scene after releasing their first album "Elephunk in 2003. The album saw the success of their first single "Where Is The Love" featuring Justin Timberlake. The single managed to peak at #8 on Billboard Hot 100 and reached #1 in the U.K. Music charts.

After "Where Is The Love" the group also continues their hit making sequence with the release of the single "Don't Phunk With My Heart" in 2005 which gave them a Grammy award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 2006.
