Pop superstar Madonna is planning to adopt an Indian baby, reports claimed.

AceShowbiz - Her adoption of Malawian young boy David Banda has once sparked controversy and not yet been officially approved, but Madonna is said to have been planning another adoption. New report surfaced by the hour that the pop superstar is planning to adopt an Indian baby.

Madonna, according to multiple sources, has abandoned plans to adopt another baby from Africa after getting increasingly frustrated with the bureaucracy she has to complete to make her adoption of David legal and is now looking to India after having spent her New Year holiday there. Her husband Guy Ritchie, fortunately, is reportedly supporting her in this endeavor though at first was against the idea. Sources say she will start looking once she is done with the promotional work for her upcoming album "Hard Candy."

Madonna and Ritchie took kids Lourdes, Rocco, and David to India in January. There the singing sensation met Bollywood choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, who has also adopted an Indian baby. Sandip told The Sun newspaper that he convinced Madonna to adopt another child.

"We spoke about how there are so many children in India who need homes," so he said, and Madonna herself as said by a source "was very taken with Sandip. He told her there were orphans who would melt her heart. Guy was against the idea, but when she wants something, she gets it."

The source then went on adding that having found out adopting son David was "very stressful", "Guy thought Madonna was mad to want to go through it all again. He has always been unsure about adoption as his own mother was adopted and had negative experiences of that. But they talked and talked and decided adopting a baby from India would be easier."
