Shia LaBeouf Revealing 'Transformers 2' Production Date

The star of drama thriller 'Disturbia' has reportedly stated in an interview that the 'Transformers' sequel will start its production in Summer.

AceShowbiz - It seems that the earlier rumor stating that the filming of the action sequel "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" will be started sometime in mid-summer contains truth as the film's star Shia LaBeouf let out about the Paramount Pictures' movie production. According to MTV Movies Blog, the 21-year-old actor revealed the filming will begin in the Summer.

In an interview with the music network, the star of thriller film "Disturbia" confessed that the production is going to be started in June. "We're gearing up for 'Transformers' in June," announced LaBeouf. Talking further about the forthcoming film, the co-star of Harrison Ford in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" also commented about the film's new robots stating, "It's got to be more badass. It has to be."

"Transformers 2" is the sequel to the blockbuster hit action film "Transformers" which featured LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Tyrese Gibson and Josh Duhamel as the human leading characters. The film will be once again directed by Michael Bay. Prior to this report, there were reports claiming that the sequel film will be having a much bigger robot in the form of Constructicons.

Meanwhile, on the LaBeouf related news, MTV also noted that the young actor confessed of getting injured for several times on the set of his highly anticipated film "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull". "I pulled a rotator cuff in my hip," the former Disney star said. "It's the only time in my career I've ever been injured. What happened was, because the injury got worse and worse as the movie went on, I pulled my groin also. [The groin] is not a good thing to have anything happen to."
