Following an international casting search held throughout the United States, Canada and the U.K., it has been announced that the latest installment of the successful Disney's Original Movie series "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" has found its additional members for the famous Wildcats. According to Hollywood Reporter, the film has tapped three rising stars Matt Prokop, Justin Martin and Jemma McKenzie-Brown for the second sequel.

Further, Trend News claimed that a press release issued by Disney on Monday, March 24 stated that the three newcomers will be portraying sophomores in the HSM third film. Prokop, who is no stranger to Disney as he has appeared in Disney Channel's hit original series "Hannah Montana", is set to portray Jimmie "The Rocket" Soto, while McKenzie-Brown, whose credits include a supporting role in the BBC production of "The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard", will be playing Tiara. It is still unclear though what character will be played by Martin, who will be seen in Jamie Foxx's movie "The Soloist".

Commenting on the casting, the film's helmer Kenny Ortega said, "Peter Barsocchini's exciting script for 'High School Musical 3' called for the addition of three sophomore characters, so we set out on a massive casting search across North America and England to find just the right young actors to play the parts. We think these talented performers will bring lots of humor, new twists, and musical fun to the film. Jemma was one of the many young actresses that we met in London, and she impressed us with her singing and dancing, in addition to being very exciting and effervescent. Matt has a terrific personality, and a great sense of comedy and fun. And Justin had a great presence and charisma, besides being a wonderful comedic actor who could really dance. I am confident that the three new actors joining our original cast will help to bring great musical thrills, surprises and a lot of fun to Senior Year and the halls of East High."

The three additional Wildcats members will be joining the original cast that include Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel and Monique Coleman on April 21, 2008 as the film starts shooting in Utah. Additionally, the filming is set to be completed by June 13, 2008 since the film itself is scheduled to hit the theaters on October 24, 2008.
