Reports that were buzzing regarding Coldplay's plan to walk away from EMI have been denied by a representative from the label. The label's insider told NME.com that the band are actually "committed".
"In reality Coldplay are signed to a long-term record deal with EMI and are committed to produce a number of studio albums," the source explained. "The band's relationship with EMI is both long-term and very healthy and positive. Any suggestion to the contrary is incorrect and unfair on both parties."
It was previously loud that Coldplay will be free agents once they release a greatest hits and a new studio album which is slated to be released this year. EMI had lost two of their major artists, namely Paul McCartney and Radiohead, last year due to internal conflicts.
Meanwhile, words are now also circulating that the title to their fourth studio album is 'Hope and Revelations' instead of 'Prospekt' that many have speculated. The band revealed on their official site that there will be a song a song called 'Lost'.
