Spider Man's leading lady Kirsten Dunst is invading the world of modeling. The actress, known for portraying the role of Mary Jane Watson in the Spider-Man film series, has been tapped as the new face of Miu Miu.

While rumors on the street are busy speculating on her dating surfing dude Kelly Slater, Dunst keeps herself busy shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for Miu Miu's spring/summer 2008 campaign, replacing sultry French model and some-time actress Laetitia Casta.

Miu Miu, a clothing line from the Prada fashion house, begun in 1992, and headed by Miuccia Prada, has always been fond of using celebrities for its campaigns. They previously tapped the likes of Kim Basinger and Lindsay Lohan.

Miu Miu is set to expand even further in the US with new stores set to open early next year on 57th Street in New York and Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles.

Elsewhere, Life & Style Weekly has brought to the surface news that stated Dunst and Slater are dating. They've been seen went out on a romantic date to Ago in Los Angeles, the publication claimed. "They were flirting a lot, smiling and giggling. They were having a fun time, and there was definite chemistry. It looked like they were getting to know each other," a source in the know was quoted as saying.

With the latest dating report, it is obvious that Slater is a favorite among Hollywood famous celebs, as he's been romantically linked to such leading ladies as Bar Refaeli and Cameron Diaz.
