Lavigne brought home two awards, Best Female Singer and Best Video for 'Girlfriend', beating Gwen Stefani, Hilary Duff and Cheryl Cole from Girls Aloud.

The show's host McFly also didn't come home empty-handed. The all boys group took down Fall Out Boy, Girls Aloud and Sugababes to snatch Best Band award.
