2007 Q Awards handed its statuettes to Kate Nash, Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Amy Winehouse, Muse and many more.

AceShowbiz - The prestigious Q Awards has handed its Breakthrough Artist to Kate Nash, the outspoken singer who triumphed through single 'Foundation'. The British event that took place at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday, October 8, also found Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue and Arctic Monkeys as big winners.
McCartney took the title Q Icon Award while thanking his Beatles bandmates and his late wife Linda McCartney on the acceptance speech. He said, "I would like to thank George, John and Ringo, the boys. I would like to thank Linda for seeing me though some real tough periods, and my beautiful family, my kids, who are fantastic."
Kylie and Arctic Monkeys are named Q Idol and The Best Act in the World Today respectively, while Johnny Marr, ex - The Smiths' guitarist, won the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Other 'Best of's winners include Manic Street Preachers, Kaiser Chiefs and Muse. Amy Winehouse also came out a champion through her second album 'Back to Black' but the singer failed to attend the ceremony.
