Guess what? Teri Hatcher's latest role besides actress and author is fashion model. The Emmy-nominated and Golden Globe Award-winning actress is working on a new career as she's been signed to be the latest celebrity model to work for Badgley Mischka.

It is Teri's appearance on the red carpet of the "American Idol" finale back in May, during which she wore their collection, that prompted the fashion label to invite her to be their latest celebrity model after the likes of Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen.

"She was one of our first celebrities," Mischka said recalling on their becoming the first to create a gown for the actress when she starred in the '90s TV series "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman." "She's a beautiful, smart woman, and I think our customer can relate to her."

Concerning her new role, the Desperate Housewife posed in lingerie and swimwear for the ad for the fashion line's new collection which will appear in September issues of Vogue, InStyle and Vanity Fair, among others, and be featured online and outdoors.
