About to be seen once again as Tia Dalma in "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End" late this month, Naomie Harris is reported by MTV to have given her agreement to co-star in Fox Searchlight's high-profile thriller drama "The Night Watchman", previously known as "Night Watch (2008)."

With this inclusion, Harris then is joining the likes of Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie, Chris Evans, rapper Common, and Terry Crews in the cast. Pic will find Reeves portray an alcoholic veteran LAPD cop who gets framed by his former mentor, played by Whitaker, in the murder of a fellow officer.

Production on the flick has already begun under the direction of David Ayer, who is helming from James Ellroy's script that he also co-wrote. Alexandra Milchan, Lucas Foster, Alexandra M. Lambert, and Erwin Stoff are all producing with Alec Hammond and Hilton Rosemarin handling production design and set decoration, respectively.

"...It's really dark," so Harris commented about the movie while adding that she will begin filming her scenes this summer. "It's a really great movie, though, and I'm really excited to be part of it."
