Courtney Love is planning to auction most of her late husband Kurt Cobain's belongings. The controversial actress has not yet set the date for the sale though, except saying that it would occur in the near future.

"I'm going to have a Christie's auction," Love tells AOL music Website Spinner.com. "[My house] is like a mausoleum."

Among the items which would apparently be available for bidding are many items Love feels she nor their daughter Frances Bean Cobain, really need anymore. Those items include closets full of flannel shirts.

"My daughter doesn't need to inherit a giant ... bag full of flannel ... shirts," Love said, adding that "A sweater, a guitar and the lyrics to '[Smells Like] Teen Spirit', that's what my daughter gets. And the rest of it we'll just ... sell."

Already gets friends' support, Love is planning to give a bunch of the money collected from the auction to charity.

Love and Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana, were married in 1992. They were both rockers and notoriously did drugs together as their stars rose in the music world.
