Katharine McPhee has been hard work at her debut album and the result will be coming out January 30th next year.

The LP, tentatively titled "Never Saw It Comin'," will be released via RCA Records. The set, reportedly, features production from Timbaland associate Nate Hills and some contributions from Babyface, Kara Dioguardi and Ryan Leslie just to name a few.

"It's rhythm pop," McPhee told Billboard.com of the album's sound. "It's not like really R&B or really poppy, but there are a couple of tracks that are really good for the 'American Idol' fans who voted for me and knew me as the 'Over the Rainbow' girl."

Aside, McPhee reveals on the album's title, explaining "I never saw this coming into my life as big as it did, and you never saw this kind of a record coming. You thought I was going to make a Streisand record."
