Moviehole reported that the Grammy-Award winning singer is going to star in a new big screen feature entitled "True Players" of which details, apart from its cast lineup, have not yet been known.

Besides Timberlake, the likes of Dennis Quaid, James Caan, and rapper Xzibit are also reportedly attached to take part in the project, which is currently in pre-production.

Timberlake, known to be the member of NSYNC before flourishing a solo career, first made his big screen appearance playing a journalist named Josh Pollack in thriller flick "Edison" alongside Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey. He next can be seen in Nick Cassavetes' drama feature "Alpha Dog" which will open in theaters on January 12, 2007.
