AceShowbiz - Philadelphia rapper Cassidy is in critical condition after being involved in a serious traffic accident in New Jersey on Wednesday night Oct 4th.
The star was reportedly on his way to a Yonkers, New York recording studio when a U-Haul truck swerved into oncoming traffic, striking the side of the SUV Cassidy was riding in. The MC was sitting in the rear passenger side seat.
Cassidy was immediately run to an undisclosed hospital. He suffered a fractured skull and many bones in the left side of his face were broken. Meanwhile, none of the four other passengers in the vehicle were injured.
A representative for Cassidy reported the rapper is in critical condition and is said to be breathing on his own. He has on Thursday afternoon underwent a CAT scan and doctors say his brain activity is normal, adding that he is heavily sedated and his injuries are not life-threatening.
