The year of 2006 sees the celebration of the 3rd annual Fashion Rocks, which is about to be held on September 7 at Radio City Music Hall. One thing for sure, the event will be one of the greatest feasts people ever attend.
Not only the concept of the feast that is huge, considering the plan of the hosts, the Conde Nast Media Group, to tent over 18,000 square feet of Rockefeller Center and turning it into a replica of the famed Buddah Bar, straight from Paris, but also numbers of Hollywood famous figures slated to perform.
Lit by 150 glowing lanterns and draped with over 4,000 yards of silks and other opulent fabrics, the party will be easy on the eyes. And it will also be easy on the ears as the likes of Fab Faux and Chic. DJ Cassidy will all perform.
Greater than that, Rachel Bilson, Eva Mendes, Jimmy Fallon and Denis Leary have all signed on to this spectacular, set to air on CBS on September 8. On top of that, there will also more than 100 models on stage, showing fashions from Junya Watanabe's inside out skinny pants to Alexander McQueen's dresses, and of course, Burberry's chic coats.
