Where do we draw the line between sex and love? When does fantasy go beyond reality? In a timeframe ranging from the early 1900s up to the present day, across a century of New York history, ten characters, ten lost souls, meet, get to know each other, feel sexual attraction and, sometimes, love.
No matter what role or gender is assigned to them, what they want is to satisfy their sexual desire, often with unexpected or painful consequences. Ten episodes linked one to another form the structure of a vibrant musical, where operetta meets pop and swing.
Based on the successful stage play of the same name by Michael John LaChiusa, who was in turn inspired by Arthur Schnitzler's La ronde, Hello Again is a bittersweet exploration of human relationships.
