Frankie Bridge, born Francesca Sandford on 14 January 1989, is an English singer and television personality who has remained a fixture in the British entertainment landscape for over two decades. Beginning her career at just twelve years old, she first captured the public’s attention as a member of the pop group S Club 8, before finding lasting fame as part of the girl group The Saturdays. Her evolution from teen pop star to style icon and daytime television regular demonstrates a remarkable ability to reinvent herself while retaining a devoted fan base.

Bridge’s introduction to the music industry came in 2001 when she auditioned for the reality television competition S Club Search. Her success on the show earned her a place in S Club Juniors, a spin-off of the hugely popular group S Club 7, which was later renamed S Club 8. During their tenure, the group released seven singles and two albums, and starred in their own children’s musical television programme I Dream in 2004. The group disbanded in 2005, but the experience laid the foundation for Bridge’s future ambitions. In 2007, she successfully auditioned for a new girl group that would become The Saturdays. Her debut solo album was slated for release in 2019, but was ultimately shelved so she could focus on motherhood. During this period, she gained prominence as a style icon, with her signature short haircut sparking a trend across the UK. Her television career flourished in parallel, beginning with a stint as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing in 2014, where she impressed audiences with her performances. She later presented the game show Cannonball in 2017 and became a regular panellist on the talk show Loose Women in 2021. In 2024, she took on another major challenge as a contestant on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, further cementing her status as a versatile and enduring entertainment personality.
