Brett Dalton is best recognized as Agent Grant Ward of ABC adventure series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Starring alongside the likes of Clark Gregg, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Chloe Bennet just to name some, he has successfully won a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV: Male Breakout Star in 2014. Following the series' success, he has scored parts in indie drama film "The Tourist" as Eric Lazard, "a heartbroken former college football star who gets in over his head with a dangerous Florentine sport and alluring local woman."
Prior to becoming famous, Dalton fell for acting for the first time after auditioning for a production of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". He then landed a guest spot on TV series "Nurses", which was followed by a role in short film "1:00am Games". In 2012 alone, he guest starred on police procedural drama series "Blue Bloods" also on Lifetime's drama "Army Wives". The following year, he could be seen making appearances in TV movie "Killing Lincoln" and in the big screen flick "Beside Still Waters".
Dalton was born in San Jose, California on January 7, 1983 as Brett Patrick Dalton. He and his girlfriend are parents to daughter Sylvia, who was born in 2012.
