The Detour is an American single-camera comedy television series created by Samantha Bee and Jason Jones that premiered on TBS on April 11, 2016. The series follows Nate and Robin Randall, a couple who decide to take their family on a road trip from New York to Florida. However, their plans quickly go awry when they encounter a series of misadventures along the way. In the Season 3 promo video, Nate and Robin are shown struggling to keep their relationship afloat while dealing with the challenges of raising their children. The video also features a cameo appearance by Jason Sudeikis, who plays Nate's brother, Jared.
