All Eyez on Me is a 2017 American biographical drama film directed by Benny Boom and written by Jeremy Haft, Eddie Gonzalez, and Steven Bagatourian. The film stars Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac Shakur, Danai Gurira as Afeni Shakur, Kat Graham as Jada Pinkett, Lauren Cohan as Leila Steinberg, and Jamie Hector as Suge Knight. The film follows the life of Shakur from his early days in Harlem to his rise to fame as a rapper and actor, and his eventual murder in 1996. The film was released on June 16, 2017, by Lionsgate.
