The ninth episode of season 4 of "Ray Donovan" (titled "Gone in 15 Minutes") begins with a tense moment between Ray and Bunchy as they discuss the events of the previous episode. Ray is still struggling to come to terms with the death of his wife Abby, and Bunchy is trying to be supportive but is also dealing with his own problems. The episode then cuts to a flashback, showing Ray and Abby on their wedding day. Ray is nervous and Abby is excited, and the two of them are clearly in love. The flashback then cuts back to the present day, and Ray is seen sitting alone in his office, drinking. He is clearly still grieving Abby's death, and he is struggling to find a way to move on.
