Elena of Avalor is a Disney Channel animated television series that premiered on July 22, 2016. The first episode, "First Day of Rule", is available on YouTube. In the episode, Elena, the newly crowned princess of Avalor, must learn to rule her kingdom. She is joined by her friends Mateo, a young sorcerer; Naomi, a strong-willed princess; and Gabe, a brave and loyal guard. Together, they must face challenges and adventures as they help Elena learn how to be a good leader.
