While Mike goes shopping with Carl for his first date with Molly, Molly is worried because she's getting a cold. She doesn't want to cancel so her mother gives her some cough syrup. Unfortunately, after downing a large dose, she tells Molly that it has codeine in it. Molly passes out while getting dressed, and her sister slips a diet pill down her throat, allowing Molly to rally a little. However, during the date, Molly is both dozy and wired and ends up passed out in the toilet. Ever-chivalrous, Mike takes her home and suggests they have a "do-over" for their first date. When Carl presses Mike, he tells him that the date was a disaster but he's going to marry her.
