The death of a wunderkind botanist leads Jane and the team into the world of medical marijuana growers. No one at the nursery where the victim worked seems to know why someone might have wanted to kill him, but Jane soon uncovers a side deal he had with a large tobacco company that was developing a new strain of marijuana in preparation for legalization. The victim had stolen a vial of seeds worth several million dollars shortly before being murdered, and Jane figures that finding the seeds will lead him straight to the killer. Cho joins the rapid response team in a raid on a counterfeiting operation. During the takedown, he is shocked to find Summer - now eight months pregnant - in the middle of the action. She says she's an innocent bystander, but Cho has his doubts.
