With coaxing from Mayte, Jessica decides to talk to Garth and find out if he still has feelings for her. While Mayte is recovering from surgery, Jessica gets her answer. Later, Drea wants to celebrate her birthday by teaching the others how to pole dance. While Shamicka is on the pole, Jessica cheers her on, calling her a "hood rat". Fortunately, Shamicka did not hear the comment. but Sheree did. Later, Sheree confronts Jessica about it and they both agree not to bring it up to Shamicka. However, during a dinner party at Shamicka's house, Sheree changes her mind and lets the cat out of the bag.
