The morning after eliminating Aubrey, the players all headed up to the gym to work out. They were shocked to season 5's winner, Ali Vincent waiting for them. Ali V. told them all that Ali Sweeney went into labor the night before and had a baby girl. But, that wasn't the only news Ali V. was there to share with the players.
Ali V. brought out the three players who were eliminated from the first round of the show, when their teammates couldn't keep them on the ranch. Estella, Nicole, and David all showed up and all were noticeably lighter than before. The returning players found out that they were there to be weighed in and the person who won the weigh-in would return to the ranch.
Nicole won the weigh-in by losing 87 pounds while at home. She had the second highest percentage of weight loss behind Tara. Nicole was proud of herself, because she told herself she was going to find a way to get back on the ranch and she did. The players all realized they had true competition with Nicole's return.
Nicole was already feeling the pressure from the other players on the ranch. The next morning, she ran into Tara while doing her morning jog and was already getting impatient with Tara's frantic mannerisms and constant details of life on the ranch. Nicole played it off and continued her morning routine.
Bob was shocked when Nicole walked into the kitchen. He couldn't believe how tiny she had gotten. He was even more shocked when he found out she was number two, behind Tara, when it came to most percentage of weight lost out of all the players on the ranch. Meanwhile, Jillian wanted Tara to chill out and stop being so manic about Nicole.
Kristin and Sione got some alone time with Bob to talk about all the changes on campus. Their main concern was how Ron had formed an alliance early on with Sione and Filipe and was so quick to vote against Filipe at the last weigh-in. Bob told Kristin and Sione they should forget about alliances and concentrate on staying above the yellow line.
Jillian met with Helen and Laura in the kitchen and wanted to check in on them about Nicole's return. Helen thought it was refreshing to have a new face back on campus. Jillian said if anything, the women could learn from Nicole's success while she was at home.
Ron approached Bob complaining of chest pains. Not wanting to take any risks, Ron was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer and was treated with a double balloon enteroscopy. But, with the right medicine, Ron's condition will get better and he can return to life on the ranch.
The teams all met up for the week's challenge and were surprised to see last season's winner, Michelle Aguilar, waiting for them. The players were so happy to see how great she looked. She introduced the challenge, which involved players being strung up above a pool and having to focus on balance to keep from falling in. Last person standing would win.
The last two remaining in the balancing challenge were Kristin and Sione. They had lasted over an hour hovering above the water. But in the end, Sione won the challenge and was so happy to have finally won. He also could really use the top prize and that was a one-pound advantage in the weigh-in.
Bob took his team to the beach for their last-chance workout, but it wasn't just for fun. He had them sweating up a storm with a series of drills. Meanwhile back on the ranch, Jillian was working out her team because she knew that Nicole had immunity this week and Sione had a one-pound advantage.
Mike was so relieved to have his dad back on the ranch and healthy. Ron was honest with Mike and told him that since his time at the hospital was spent lying around, he has to expect to be below that yellow line. Mike just wanted to be sure his father wasn't going to take the fall for anybody else on the ranch, especially him.
The teams all met up at the weigh-in and were shocked to see Ali Sweeney back after just having a baby. They all congratulated her and were amazed with how great she looked already.
If Nicole lost any weight during her first, she would be granted immunity. She was so nervous for her weigh-in and was shocked when the scale said she gained five pounds. The rest of the players were just as shocked. Bob credited the weight gain to all of the stress Nicole had been feeling since her return. Because of the weight gain, she would be up for elimination.
Nicole wasn't the only player to gain weight that week on the ranch. Laura gained a pound, but avoided falling below the yellow line because of Ron's three-pound weight gain. Now the players had to decide to keep Ron or Nicole on the ranch. After a very close vote, Nicole was voted off the ranch.
