Ali told the remaining five players to pack their bags because they were headed to New York City. They were even more surprised when she told them they would be getting makeovers and showing off their new looks on The Tyra Banks Show.

The first stop on the road to a makeover was the hair salon. Heba was a bit nervous because she had never colored her hair before. The rest of the players couldn't wait to see what changes were in store for them.

After the players all got their hair cut and colored, they met Christian Siriano at Macy's for a new wardrobe for The Tyra Banks Show. The process was very emotional for the players, because they were trying on sizes that in the past, they could only dream about fitting into.

Michelle was the first one to debut her makeover. She was nervous at first with all of the lights, cameras, and people, but opened up more when she started talking to Tyra. Michelle was in for a huge surprise when Tyra called her dad to see his newly made-over daughter. Michelle's dad broke into tears when he saw her on stage.

The next guest to come on to the show was Renee. She showed off her new look and the audience loved it. She started to cry when Tyra brought up how the show has reunited her with her estranged daughter, Michelle. Tyra also moved Renee to tears when she brought her husband, Roderick, to the stage.

Heba still couldn't get over her new look, but was so excited to show it off for The Tyra Banks Show. She was moved even more when Tyra brought out Heba's brother. He was floored with how great his sister looked and Heba was surprised to see him even start crying.

The remaining five took their loved ones out for a night in Times Square. They looked up on one of the gigantic television screens to see Bob and Jillian trying to get their attention. The trainers wanted to remind their players that there was still a lot of exercise they could do in New York and the scale would be waiting for them when they got home.

Ed, his father, Heba, her brother, Vicky and her sister all headed to the new 24-Hour Fitness Gym in New York to get a workout in. Ed's father decided to film his son working out instead of actually joining him.

Renee and her husband decided to run the Brooklyn Bridge because Renee had never seen it before. She was proud of herself to be able to keep up with her fit husband during the run. Meanwhile, Michelle and her dad climbed stairs and she was able to open up about her and her mom's relationship growing stronger while on the ranch.

Back at the ranch, Renee and Michelle modeled their new looks and outfits for Jillian. She thought that both women looked beautiful. But she also wanted them to know that they were back on the ranch now, and it was time to make up for the lost days they spent in New York.

Vicky was still determined to work out more than anybody else on the ranch. Because she had her sister in New York, she wasn't able to do that, but now she wanted to get her head back in the game.

For the challenge, the players had to wedge themselves inside glass cubes. The floor would be dropped, dangling the players over a pool. The challenge was about endurance, but the winner would win a two-week trip for two at a spa and resort in Utah.

Vicky was the first one to give up, but she refused to dive into the pool so she just sat out in the sidelines of her cube. That irritated the rest of the players. In the end, it came down to Michelle winning the spa package. Vicky still refused to jump into the water. After a lot of coaxing from the other players, she eventually faced her fears and jumped.

Bob was making up for lost time by leading Vicky, Heba, and Ed in a spinning class. Heba had reached her breaking point and started crying as she kept pedaling on the stationary bike. Bob wanted his team to remember they were worth the success.

Michelle and Renee were feeling good about their workout and were still riding high from being so successful the previous week. Jillian felt like her team was proving they really wanted to be on the ranch. Regardless, she still pushed them very hard during their last-chance workout.

At the weigh-in, Ed and Renee found themselves below the yellow line. Before Vicky, Heba, and Michelle could vote, Ed and Renee were given one minute to make their plea on why they should stay.

After Heba and Vicky voted for Renee, she had to accept she wasn't going to be The Biggest Loser. Renee was just thankful that the experience brought her and Michelle together again, and that alone made it all worth it.
