The teams all found out they were taking a road trip to the Grand Canyon and had to return to their rooms to pack. The contestants knew they would be in for temptations and some rigorous exercises once they arrived.

Once the teams arrived at the Grand Canyon, Ali was there to greet them. She showed off her top-notch luxury trailer, she then showed them a cot and a sleeping bag outside. The players all knew that they were going to have to compete for a night in the luxury trailer.

Ali introduced the teams to their first temptation challenge. They had to guess how many calories were in a snack. If they were right, they got a free case of Extra gum, but if they were correct three times, they got a night in the luxury RV while the others had to camp outside.

The twist in the game was that if the teams were wrong about how many calories were in the snack, they had to eat it. Some teams decided to take themselves out of the game altogether, including the Yellow team, who had learned their lesson the previous week.

Ed and Heba won the temptation challenge and the night in the luxury RV. The other teams hoped that maybe the night of luxury would take the Orange team's mind off the game.

The teams all met up at the top of the Grand Canyon to take in the incredible view. Ali wanted to remind them that the Grand Canyon was a great metaphor for their bodies changing shapes and facing challenges.

The teams set up their cots and tents and were determined to find creative ways to exercise without the trainers around. Some of them discovered medicine balls, while others went for a long walk.

It was time for the challenge and the teams were anxious to see what they had to do. They met at the bottom of the canyon. One team member had to row a kayak, while the other had to let go of rope that the teams would carry with them to the other side. Along the way, Michelle hit a current that stopped her kayak completely; meanwhile, Shellay accidentally tangled up Amy's rope, making her slow down.

Once all the teams reached the other side of the dock, the other players could pull the ropes, causing their rival teams to return to the finish line. Michelle was the first one to get pulled back completely and be eliminated. In the end, Ed and Heba won the challenge and a brand-new luxury RV, just like the one they had enjoyed the night before.

Later on that night, the players each took turns complimenting Coleen, who was celebrating a birthday that night. It broke her down to tears to hear the beautiful words the other players were saying. Jerry also started crying when talking about his daughter.

The teams returned to the ranch the next day and Bob was hoping they would tell him stories of rigorous workouts. Instead, they told him stories of relaxing and how great the outdoors was.

Jillian was just as mad at her own teams when they talked about not finding enough exercises to do while on their road trip. Both she and Bob set out to give their teams their toughest workout yet.

The doctors had to be called in to check in on Jerry after his leg began to swell up. Jillian was informed that it could even be an infection in Jerry's blood. This scared Jerry, who didn't want to see his daughter have to leave because the doctors were sending him home.

Jillian returned to the gum and was torturing her players with their weights. Michelle even broke down in tears, but refused to drop her weight bar. Meanwhile, all of Bob's team was suffering just as much with their workouts.

During her boxing session with Jillian, Michelle broke down crying. Jillian kept trying to pull words out of Michelle, but all she got were tears. Jillian encouraged Michelle to have a voice and not just be a doormat. She wanted Michelle to find some respect in herself.

Coleen came back from the gym to check on her father. The good news was that he didn't have any blood clots, the bad news was that he had a torn hamstring. Coleen was just relieved he was going to be ok.

Before the weigh in could begin, Ali had some shocking news. She told the teams that once the final results were revealed from the weigh in, the teams had to decide which player would stay on the ranch and which one would continue their journey from home.

Jerry was shocked at the results of the weigh in when it revealed he had gained two pounds. He thought he had tried all he could to lose weight for the week. Jillian was saddened by the news; she really wanted a happy ending for the Yellow team.

Coleen and Jerry now had to face the tough decision on who would be going home. Jerry told his daughter he wished he had the same opportunity she had at her age to be on the show. Jerry credited Coleen with showing him the right direction, and said he was ready to go home.

At the elimination, Jerry announced that he was going home. Before he was sent away, the rest of the players took the time to tell Jerry what an amazing father he was and how great it was to be on the ranch with him.
