After last week's weigh-in, the Red Team feels bad for Tanya. She had a rough week, but everyone knows that she belongs on the ranch. The important thing is that she wasn't eliminated, but the Blue Team is the only team with a trainer save remaining.
Alison invites the contestants to a pumpkin patch where they'll have to dig through pumpkins in search of an immunity ticket that will prevent any of their team members from being eliminated this week. There's a catch to this challenge, though: one of the one hundred pumpkins has an immunity ticket in it. The rest are filled with calorie-laden sweets that the contestants must eat. Without wasting a second, the teams dive into the challenge.
The Blue Team gets off to a lucky start, finding handfuls of cash in their first few pumpkins. The Red and White Teams know that they need to find the immunity ticket, because they have no trainer saves remaining. After a few rounds of pumpkin picking, Hap finds the immunity ticket, solidifying immunity for the entire Blue Team. In the end, the challenge has cost the Red Team 2,024 calories, the White Team 2,354 calories and the Blue Team 1,450 calories; they'll have to burn it all off before the weigh-ins.
The contestants hit the gym with their trainers, motivated and eager to burn off their extra calories as quickly as possible. Tanya struggles with the workouts, but Dolvett is there to push her every step of the way. Bob has also arranged a special treat for Holley Mangold: he's invited a team of female weightlifters to work out on the ranch for the day. Holley is in her zone during the workout, and she leaves with a renewed sense of confidence in herself. She's finally realizing that she can lose weight without losing muscle.
Meanwhile, Jillian works with Tumi to be more aggressive in her workouts. Jill knows she's repressing something, though, so she takes Tumi outside for a quick chat. On the steps of the gym, Tumi tells Jillian that she's always had trust issues, and it's now affecting her health and her workouts. In only a few short minutes, Jillian teaches Tumi to confront her emotions rather than running from them. It's an eye-opening experience for Tumi, and it will help her in the long run.
Next, The Biggest Loser catches up with Biingo, who went from living a sedentary, video game-focused lifestyle to being so active and busy that he hardly has time for his old hobby anymore. Back on the ranch, the contestants are treated to letters from their friends, families and loved ones back home. Tears are shed, and the contestants are incredibly motivated by the support from their families.
Next, it's time for the weigh-ins! The Blue Team is immune this week, unless any of the team's members gains weight. Holley clocks a four-pound loss, Matt drops four pounds, Bobby sheds four pounds and Hap and Chelsea each lose five pounds. The Blue Team is immune from elimination this week.
The White Team hits the scales next. Marie loses four pounds, Craig drops seven pounds, Tumi sheds seven pounds and Jay ditches nine pounds. The White Team pulled great numbers this week, but the Red Team still has to weigh in.
Rachel sheds eight pounds, Jennifer drops six pounds, Tanya loses three pounds and Ruben ditches five pounds. Dolvett was expecting more from Ruben, and the Red Team didn't lose enough to avoid elimination. Unfortunately, since Ruben shed the lowest percentage, his time on the ranch is over. If only Dolvett had another trainer save!
