AceShowbiz - Rachel Lindsay's ex Bryan Abasolo has sought spousal support in their ongoing divorce proceedings. In court documents, the chiropractor claimed he made the request due to his low income.

In the legal docs obtained by RadarOnline.com, the 44-year-old divulged that he pulls in around $1,600 per month. He also admitted to having a negative bank account balance.

Listing himself as self-employed, Bryan said he earns $1,341 per month from his job and another $330 in rental property income. However, his income from his self-employment reportedly is negative $571 per month.

Bryan claimed he had $781k in real and personal property but little to no funds in the bank. In the filing, he said Rachel lives with him and pays some of the household expenses.

Bryan stated that his monthly expenses total $18,900. In addition, he owes $245,000 in student loans and another $2000 in credit card debt. He said his loans are "deferred" at the moment.

The Miami native said he has paid his divorce lawyer $6,000 and owes another 27,000. As for his assets, they include a home in North Hollywood and another in Miami.

Bryan filed for divorce from Rachel on January 2, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind their split. In addition, he penned December 31, 2023, as the official date of their separation.

A few hours after submitting the documents, Bryan issued a statement via Instagram that read in part, "After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew." The 43-year-old chiropractor continued, "My parents have been married forever and I'm a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go."

Rachel and Bryan fell in love in season 13 of "The Bachelorette" in 2017. The season ended with the two getting engaged. Two years later, they tied the knot at the Royalton Suites Cancun in Mexico.
