James McCartney and Sean Ono Lennon excite fans by releasing their first joint single, 'Primrose Hill', an ode to one of London's most panoramic viewing spots in Regent's Park.

AceShowbiz - Sir Paul McCartney and John Lennon's sons have teamed up for new music. James McCartney and Sean Ono Lennon have released their first joint single, "Primrose Hill", an ode to one of London's most panoramic viewing spots in Regent's Park.

Making use of Instagram, James shared a selfie of himself and Sean together. He kicked off his caption, " 'Primrose Hill' is here! Today I am so very excited to share my latest song co-written by my good friend @sean_ono_lennon."

"With the release of this song it feels like we're really getting the ball rolling and I am so excited to continue to share music with you," he added. "Enjoy the song and be sure to enter the 'Primrose Hill' Music Video Contest via the link in bio, deadline for entry is next week!"

James' dad, Paul, also promoted the song on his Facebook page. "My son James has a new song out called 'Primrose Hill' - check it out! And lots of love to Sean Ono Lennon who co-wrote the song," The Beatles penned.

On "Primrose Hill", James and Sean sing in harmony. "I looked into your eyes/ Got such a great surprise/ You take my breath away," the former sings, before his pal joins him for the chorus, "We'll always remember Primrose Hill, Primrose Hill."

Earlier this month, James described the song in a post shared on X, formerly Twitter. "I had a vision as a child in Scotland, on what was a lovely summer's day," the 46-year-old singer, whom Paul shared with the late Linda McCartney, wrote. "Letting go, I saw my true love and saviour in my mind's eye. 'Primrose Hill' is about getting the ball rolling with me & finding this person."
