In a separate interview, the Penelope Featherington depicter opens up about the struggle to film season 3 of the Netflix series and comedy 'Big Mood' simultaneously.

AceShowbiz - Nicola Coughlan shares insights into the upcoming new season of "Bridgerton". According to the British actress, season 3 of the hit Netflix drama will make the viewers blush with its racy scenes.
During her appearance on "This Morning", Nicola said claimed that the new season would be saucier than ever. "I think we've won the sauciness for this series!' the Penelope Featherington depicter teased.
That prompted host Ben Shepard to ask, "So you have been having your fair share of steamy sex scenes in this one?" To that, Nicola replied, "It is really nerve-wracking, but thankfully, I've known Luke for four years, and he is a super nice guy," referring to co-star Luke Newton, who plays her on-screen lover Colin Bridgerton.
"It is worse in the beginning and then better in reality because we can have a laugh about it. It was quite liberating and it was quite fun to do," the "Derry Girls" star continued. "We have a lot of say in what we want to do as well."
The Sun also reported that the third season, which was said to be a steamier season than the more reserved season two, would feature a lesbian sex scene. Not stopping there, the report claimed that it will also have threesomes and oral sex.
In a separate interview, Nicola opened up about the struggle to film "Bridgerton" season 3 and the U.K.'s Channel 4 comedy "Big Mood". "I'd film one show during the week, the other on the weekend," she told AP Entertainment.
She shared that filming two projects simultaneously took a toll on her both physically and emotionally. "I remember that I was so tired, I would just start crying randomly," she recalled. "And I would be saying, 'There's nothing actually wrong with me. I am just very tired.' I had to learn my 'Big Mood' script on the 'Bridgerton' set."
" 'Big Mood' has quite naturalistic dialogue," she explained. " 'Bridgerton' is very stylized. We'd film one in West London and one in East London. It was just bonkers. It was bonkers."
Nicola's "Big Mood" co-star Lydia West added, "I would just look at you, and you were like, the actress I wanted to become. You can learn your lines in [the makeup] chair." Nicola responded, "I had no other time to do it. I needed more hours in the day."
The first half of "Bridgerton" season 3 will be available on Netflix on May 16.
