AceShowbiz - Cardi B has been showered with praise after revealing that she has started learning how to drive. The "Bodak Yellow" raptress received supportive messages from social media users for taking a driving lesson despite facing struggles.
On Friday, April 12, the 31-year-old hip-hop artist got positive online responses after a video from the driving lesson made its rounds on YouTube. One user gushed, "Go ahead Cardi. Its a NYC thing, cabs, buses, and trainsī¸. I know so many that never learned. You getting it and asking questions," adding a thumbs-up emoji. Similarly, another raved, "Love her she's being honest."
In the clip, it could be seen that Cardi was sitting on a driver seat inside her Rolls Royce truck. She was driving the luxury vehicle when it was dark and raining. Throughout the lesson, she got several instructions from an unidentified woman, who was sitting on the passenger seat, before admitting that she was "a little nervous." She also asked several questions, including one about "blinkers."
At one point, Cardi stopped and said, "Okay, hold on, I'm scared. It's raining too much. I can't see nothing, I need my glasses." She eventually gave up and told the woman, "I think you should do it" because she was "nervous."
The "Enough (Miami)" spitter went on to joke, "I got two kids, b***h, I can't die now. Not by learning how to drive." She was then filmed moving to the passenger seat and talking to the camera. She explained, "Okay guys, so to be honest with you guys, my therapist says I got to pick up a healthy habit."
On the reason why, the wife of rapper Offset revealed, "Because she said that I'm too involved with work and work is taking over my life. So she said for an hour a day I got to pick up healthy habits and one of the healthy habits that I'm picking is driving."
Cardi continued, "So today is my first day. And I'm not really trying to be Bougie and everything, but dead ass I only got the Bentley truck here and my Rolls-Royce truck. And I have not found the Bentley truck keys ever since I moved to my new house so we ain't got no choice."
