The former 'Real Housewives of New York City' star claims that she recognized the red flag before tying the knot with Hoppy, with whom she went through an eight-year divorce battle.

AceShowbiz - In a recent episode of her podcast, "Just B Divorced", Bethenny Frankel reflects on her relationship and marriage with her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy. Despite recognizing red flags, the former star of "The Real Housewives of New York City" admits to overlooking them due to her own vulnerabilities and desire to be in a relationship.

One of the warning signs Frankel ignored was Hoppy's desire to have children early in their relationship, expressing concern over her age. She also recalls Hoppy's suggestion that Nick Lachey should have taken "everything" from Jessica Simpson in their divorce.

Another issue that arose in their marriage was finances. Frankel, who had a higher income than Hoppy at the time, was uncomfortable discussing money with him. She claims that she carried the burden of significant expenses while he covered the remainder.

Frankel realized that her feelings for Hoppy were not genuine and that she had convinced herself to be attracted to him. She urged listeners to pay attention to red flags in relationships and emphasized the importance of a strong prenuptial agreement.

Previously, Frankel blamed Andy Cohen for her doomed marriage to Hoppy. In the July 17 episode of her podcast, she stated, "Well, Andy told me to marry Jason, so, there we go. F**king worst idea in history." She went on to deem her break-up a "nightmare divorce."

Frankel and Hoppy married in 2010 and welcomed a daughter the following year. They separated in 2012 and went through an eight-year divorce battle, which was finally finalized in March 2021.
