The incident took place when the stand-up comedian, who made headlines with his appearance on the 'Club Shay Shay' podcast earlier this year, was hitting the stage at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum on Saturday night, April 6.

AceShowbiz - Katt Williams' latest comedy show in Indianapolis didn't go as expected. It reportedly ended mid-show after a fight broke out in the stands, and now the comedian set the record straight on the situation.

A representative for the 52-year-old told TMZ that the show was "actually only cut off about five minutes early." Thus, fans "didn't miss too much of the show."

Katt's team believes that it was the venue's policy to turn on the lights as the show's ending. So, it had nothing to do with the brawl.

The incident took place when Katt was hitting the stage at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum on Saturday night, April 6. It remains unclear what caused the chaos, but a video showed a security guard rushing to the upper regions to stop the altercation.

This arrived a few months after Katt made headlines with his appearance on the "Club Shay Shay" podcast. During the sit-down, the comic dissed fellow comedians Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey as well as radio personality Ricky Smiley.

Katt first called out Ricky for being a liar. The Emmy winner was referring to when Ricky suggested that he was supposed to play Money Mike in the 2002 film "Friday After Next" while Katt was supposed to take the Santa Claus role.

Katt then came at Cedric, who allegedly stole his material. When slamming Steve, he appeared to insinuate that the "Family Feud" host plagiarized Mark Curry's role as Mark Cooper on "The Steve Harvey Show".

"The same Steve that went to go watch Mark Curry do his whole sitcom and then stole everything Mark Curry had. Now Steve got a sitcom where he the principal, and he wear a suit," he alleged. "And then he gets this high-top fade, making all Black men think he got the best lineup in the business. And it's a man unit."
