One highlight captured Carpenter and Swift, 34, strolling hand-in-hand at the Sydney Zoo during the Australian leg of the tour. Other photos showcased Carpenter performing onstage and receiving heartwarming friendship bracelets from fans.
"That's a wrap for us on the eras tour :')," Carpenter captioned her post. "Sitting at home reflecting on what a whirlwind this was... I want to thank every crowd for being so welcoming and generous to us."
Expressing gratitude to the crew and Swift herself, Carpenter wrote, "I feel so lucky to witness the magic that is you and this tour. There is truly no one like you and there never will be! I love you with all my heart."
Swift had announced Carpenter as an opening act for her international tour dates in June 2023. Since then, the two singers have formed a close bond, with Swift inviting Carpenter to perform "White Horse" and "Coney Island" during a show in Sydney when her opening act was canceled due to weather.
Carpenter shared a nostalgic Facebook screenshot from 2009, expressing her childhood admiration for Swift's music. "Was trying to enter a Taylor Swift contest... but they said I had to be 13," she wrote.
